The Villa Taranto hosts magnificent botanical gardens one stop before Intra on the boat. They are simply beautiful to stroll around (if a little hilly). If you were a botanical nerd you could spend days here. Mere mortals, like us, can simply soak up the sights, sounds and smells.

As is essential for us, there’s a café serving drinks and pastries about half-way around. 

A perfect place for a few hours of relaxation.
