Home via Aberystwyth & Mid-Wales

We took a leisurely drive back via Aberystwyth and Mid-Wales.

We’ve been to Aber many times before but have never bothered to look around it’s castle ruins. Aberystwyth Castle has an interesting history, and it’s site also provides great views across the town and Cardigan Bay.

On the way back we stumbled across a really beautiful stop in Y Dyffryn Melindwr (The Melindwr Valley) called Bwlch Nant y Arian (Silver Stream Pathway) near the site of ancient silver mines.

Back via Builth Wells and Brecon - beautiful.

A perfect few days away.
