Another great breakfast this morning, although slightly marred by a group leaving early, cluttering the restaurant at 07:30, when it’s usually almost deserted.
We did very little; it’s good to have time to one’s self. We took a morning stroll along the cliff above, and returning on, Fistral Beach. The tide was way out. Some people were surfing. We went down to the water’s edge to watch - and listen to an RNLI lifeguard in her land-rover, berating the few who didn’t stay within the flagged zone on a loudhailer.
A round-trip of about 1.5 miles and 1.5 hours, with a café stop.
The afternoon… nothing except reading and relaxing at the hotel.
