‍A very straight-forward day, today.

‍

‍After a very good breakfast in Cremona, we set off at 8am. Stopping for comfort breaks and lunch, we arrived at this beautiful hill-top setting at around 3pm.

‍

‍We’d upgraded our room to a Junior Suite and it’s excellent. Views across the valley to hills beyond. The hotel itself, a converted convent is a rabbit warren of buildings, some joined, some not, on various different levels. There are a couple of routes from anywhere to anywhere else. Great fun!

‍The grounds and pool area are beautifully maintained. The hotel cat, however, is totally disinterested in guests, as only cats can be.

‍

‍Dinner tonight is at 7:15pm. Fingers crossed.
