‍Our final terrace breakfast today 😔 and away just after 09:15. We arrived in Nice around 10:30 with a planned departure at 14:15. Just about right… long enough, not too long.

‍We didn’t use the Noddy Train as we’d done it on a previous visit, instead choosing to stroll around the town. There were several interesting sites (sights?). In one park there was a paddling pool with no more than 3 inches of water. The little ones (and a few bigger ones) were clearly enjoying every minute splashing each other.

‍We just caught the end of breakfast service at a swish café. Perfect as we only needed a snack and it gave us a great opportunity to watch the world go by. After “lunch” we strolled the Promenade des Anglaise, bumped into some fellow passengers, stopping for a chat.

‍Then, off to Diano Marina in Italy. We’d travelled this route many times on excursions in 2022. Amazingly good views from one side of the coach (our side 😁😁). We arrived at The Hotel Belle Vue around 16:30.

‍A very decent room with a balcony, a side-view of sea, harbour and town. Yet another perfect arrival time to prepare for dinner.

‍And was dinner amazing? A five course typical Italian dinner menu and format, cooked to perfection. May this long continue.
