We’ve travelled the “Homelands” itinerary before, but because of the Ukraine War, the itinerary has been changed. Gone are Helsinki, St Petersburg & Tallinn, replaced by Mariehamn, Bornholm and Oslo. Whilst we’re slightly disappointed not to be revisiting St Petersburg, in many ways we’re happier with the new itinerary; the new destinations look really interesting, especially the Islands which should offer a more “rural”, gentler way to spend time off-ship.
