These two Mediterranean islands, whilst only eight miles apart, offer individual cultures, traditions and stunning landscapes. After travelling through France, we cross to Corsica by overnight ferry from Toulon.
In Corsica, we visit the ancient capital of Corte and the coastal town of Ajaccio. Before our short ferry crossing to Sardinia, we also spend time visiting the village of Propriano and the town of Bonifacio.
In Sardinia, we tour the sights of the Barbagia area, considered the heart of Sardinia. Additionally, there are excursions to some of the most scenic parts of the island, including Costa Smeralda, the La Maddalena islands and Alghero.
We return to the mainland by overnight ferry to Livorno in Italy before travelling back through France.
